Shepherd Wellness Community was formed in 1987 when Episcopal priest Father Lynn Edwards, Social Worker Cyndee Klemanski, and Dr. Bill Brandon met with a group of men dying of AIDS who cried out for a safe place to gather and find acceptance, support, and encouragement. We began helping people die with dignity; now we help people living with HIV/AIDS improve their wellness. Since its inception, Shepherd Wellness Community has offered meals and supportive services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Your Attendance will support our 2025 kitchen renovation to increase functionality and menu capacity for our wellness dinners, as well as decrease our reliance on plastics and styrofoam.
