Hey friends, we’re so excited to come to Cleveland tomorrow, but due to extreme heat, we have decided not to have the youth perform outside at the North Coast Yard. Instead we’re so thankful to announce that Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has granted us the opportunity to have our students perform inside the Rock Hall of Fame Café on the first floor, just inside the lobby of the museum! The time of the performance has also changed to 2 pm!

We Rock Academy is a free recording and performance workshop for youth who have a history of or are currently receiving CYF services, led by Liz Berlin of the multi-platinum band Rusted Root and sponsored by the Allegheny County Department of Human Services.

In the We Rock Academy, participants explore the creation of music and learn meaningful ways to incorporate music into their lives. This program consists of weekly in-person professional recording sessions where participants work together to create original songs, as well as private virtual coaching sessions in the areas of vocal coaching, songwriting, recording, beat making, and song production.

The incredible talent and hard work of our amazing students will be showcased on the Skylight Park stage at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Café on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 from 2-3 pm.

You will hear brand new original music performed live, that was written during the student’s participation in the We Rock Academy.

Also, there will be special appearances by Liz Berlin, cosmic jazz chanteuse Phat Man Dee, and legendary Pittsburgh MC’s, Big Jus, & Deezil Money!
