Phat Man Dee is honored to present "Lush Life - a Pride Month Tribute to Billy Strayhorn" at the Carnegie Stage, with promotional support from Fierce Queer Performing Arts Festival and Off the Wall Productions.

This Pride month, please join us for a concert of music by the great composer and arranger Billy Strayhorn. As Strayhorn was raised in Homewood, Pittsburgh, PA, we have so much pride in his legacy as one of the great shapers of one of the truly great American art forms, jazz. We shall celebrate his incredible music by performing compositions like Something to Live For, Satin Doll, Take the A Train, Just a Sittin' and a Rockin', Isfahan, UMMG, Chelsea Bridge, and of course, Lush Life!

Musicians featured include: Max Leake, Lars Swanson, Brian E. Edwards, Reggie Watkins, and Don Aliquo Sr.

Featured vocalists include: Patrick Arena, Fred Pugh, Windafire, Gabriella Salvucci, and Esai Varela Aiquo!
