More about the 28th Annual Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit: Building Community for Lasting Democracy and Racial Equity We, the Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit planning committee, deeply appreciate your enthusiastic support of the Summit on Saturday, February 21, 2026! Our theme is Building Community for Lasting Democracy and Racial Equity. Our keynote speaker is Monica Ruiz, the Executive Director of Casa San José. Under her leadership, the organization has experienced exponential growth and now has 35 staff members and more than 100 active volunteers. It connects, supports, and advocates with and for the Latino Community.
